Skype Guitar Lessons Available!

I figured that I would post a reminder that I am available for private guitar lessons via Skype.  I’ve been teaching online this way since 2007 in various formats (Skype, Facetime, OoVoo, Google Hangouts, etc) and Skype has proven to be the most reliable format with consistent video and audio quality.

Alongside the actual live video lesson, I have a large library of materials on PDF, video, and mp3 as well as a couple of my own books (see below) to make the learning experience more complete.  I typically teach 30-minute lessons on Skype although I can also do full hour lessons if a student wishes.

The benefit of a live private lesson is that I can tailor the lesson material specifically to the students’ needs and also keep the student on track as I observe them from lesson to lesson.  There is a ton of great instructional material available online but a good instructor not only organizes the information specific to your strengths and weaknesses but also has something of a program or roadmap for your development in mind and works to get you from “point A” to “point B” over the course of the lessons.

I offer a free trial lesson/consultation for any new student so that we can test the connection and also decide on an appropriate direction for the lessons once we are actually on “paid lesson” time.

This year I am bringing back the group or “buddies” lessons where I can teach more than one student at a time.  I will also be offering master classes on specific topics from time to time, so please let me know if you are interested!

Payment can be made through PayPal or the Zelle banking app if your bank offers it.
