Harmonized Lines for Blues Guitar

Harmonized Lines for Blues Guitar

I am in gig and school meltdown this week so I decided that instead of rushing through a new lesson I would bring back a classic for you.

This is one of the videos that I made for the Truefire.com “Next Top Guitar Instructor” contest a few years ago, and in the lesson, I am showing you how I construct ideas that use two and three notes at a time to make harmonized blues ideas.  This also works great in any style because you are learning to play harmonized lines in intervals of 3rds and 6ths as well as triads within a scale.

The attached PDF also contains a transcription of the song “Someone Else’s Fool” from my 2014 album Black Market Hearts.
